Feeding Frampt titanite

Frampt doesn't seem to be breaking down titanite for me, as it says he will in the wiki. Is this something that was pre-patch or just not confirmed?

are you going into the feed item screen or selecting particular titanite in the initial menu? also you can't have it in storage for him to break it down.

All my titanite is in storage. I'm going to him, initiating dialog, going into the feed menu, selecting my standard chunks, and selecting yes. Then all that happens is my chunks disappear as if I've fed him anything else. I checked both in my inventory and in my box. Nothing

yeah, the feed item menu obtion exchanges items for souls the titanite breaking option is in the same menu as the feed itme option... whatever you fed to him is gone for a measly 50 souls...

Oh. Well it should say that in the wiki. Why would I think I'd need to have it on me when you don't need it on you for anything else? Of course it goes right in the box. It's not a huge loss. I have like 80 chunks from farming dark wraiths for slabs, but its a little annoying the wiki doesn't specify. Really why would you be carrying them around with you otherwise?
