PC Version: Testing some of your theories... Empty PC Version: Testing some of your theories...

    Post by Nurgle523 Sat Sep 08, 2012 7:32 pm

I thought pretty long and hard about where to post this and what to name it.

I know we all have at least one crazy theory about the game. Something you have to do, for the pendant or something else. I was reading something about the Lordvessel room and the braziers there. There are a lot of mysteries in game and I had a very easy idea [For PC anyway] on how to test them.

Now I am clearly NOT advocating this for playing with others. But Cheatengine would let you test some of the more extreme theories that would eat up a lot of time. I'm talking about trying to speedrun through the game at level 1 without dying. Or having 99 pendants and seeing if that somehow changes anything.

To be clear again I am just putting it forward for PC people to test out their theories as fast as possible so they can put time into characters where they don't mind spending time. I do not cheat in the game, besides testing stuff like this on separate characters I get rid of.

To be perfectly honest I hate all the hacking in the PC version but CheatEngine would be quite useful in figuring out some of the mysteries if you feel like trying something crazy out without putting a million hours into it. Although some of the things I enjoy more testing on my own.

I hope I've been clear on what I mean here. There might be a way to get into the files with it to find out stuff directly, but I don't think that's possible.

i did, you are telling people about a hack for the game you can use. putting "i don't advocate it for pvp" doesn't change the fact you are informing people about it and saying to use it.

since its on pc its a matter of time before it gets cracked wide open and someone looks at the code behind the game to check for hidden functions. i'll just enjoy my self by trying to figure things out the old fashioned way until the next souls game

    Hmmmmmmm...

Posting how to glitch, information on glitching or requesting opinions on glitching processes/methods are against forum guidelines.

+1 for Glutebrah for the funny Gif.

    And... Locked.
