Re: problems with pop ups...
I have not gotten any popups but I also have my browser set to automatically stop them... not sure I've seen any notifications. Is this a new thing? If so, when did it start?

Re: problems with pop ups...
If you're already using pop up blockers or adblock and you're still seeing pop ups, then there is a issue with your computer and you should try reformatting it to get rid of whatever wiggled it's way into it. ):
If not, try installing adblock (extension for Chrome and Firefox). Most likely it has nothing to do with the way someone here set up the forum and a problem with the host instead. Bad advertising isn't uncommon and gets past large host a lot, you can try reporting the bad advertising to Forumotion and they will most likely the will remove it.
If you see it again, grab a screencap and upload so they can see, Forumotion offers you to let them send litigation in their Terms of Service. Use it to report it: https://www.forumotion.com/en/litigation/
