Another DLC?

So artories of the abyss DLC will soon be out for the consoles so I was wondering, do you think they will release another DLC and if so what would you like to see?

Like me, I would like to see the war with the dragons and the downfall of the first flame.

I will be optimistic and say yes, they will release another DLC before the next in the series comes out. Perhaps it would be in a year like this one was, if they are not yet finished with the new game.

I would like to see more weapons, spells, armors, and areas! More than what I saw in the current DLC. It feels like so few no areas imo.

Lore wise, I like your idea of covering the opening intro we see in the beginning. That would be a crap ton of dragons and since the Gods were in their prime, perhaps we would get beefed up bosses that we already have with new movesets located in newer looking areas not as run down since it would be far back in the past.

I think they ought to have one more DLC and then it's time for a successor to DkS.
But, I'd rather wait another year for that DLC to happen and then have From rush it out.

The story of the fall of the God of War, the creation of the Flame of Chaos, Gwyn linking the First Flame and the exodus of Anor Londo. Yeah gimme another DLC.

I really wish that they release another one about gwyn's firstborn.

This DLC pack becomes available a whole year after the games original release , so I'd rather have the team focus on a full new title , instead of creating new content for the current game.

Instead of a new DLC, why not petition FROM into making the third Souls installment a Prequel to the second with added links to the first, seeing as that we already have at least one constant between the first and the second games, our fiend... er... friend Patches.

Personally, I'd like to see Izalith or New Londo before they were abandoned

Another DLC could be made, there's plenty of lore to use for inspiration, which could probably be in the past again though if there was another dlc, i'd like it to be in the same timeline.

Stuff about the god of war, the pygmy, gwyns firstborn.. They could do it all, but i doubt we'll get another DLC, FROM said themselves they never intended to do dlc, and only made it due to PC version. It would be nice to see some more DLC if it was quality for it's cost.

i think its should be interesting having more lore things, but man, i dont want to buy another dlc, this will be my first time buying one...
i'd like another game from the souls series

I wouldnt mind seeing another 3rd installment of the soul series but, I also want to know more of lore and how the age of fire actually started and why the everlasting dragons where attacked etc.

^yep although I am begining to think you (the player) is the god of war.

I think a prequel could be interesting, a mix of re-vamped existing areas, new areas, and then say, New Londo Ruins before it got dunked under water.

Whatever they do next, either DLC or a new game - I hope it isn't rushed. As much as I 'want more now!', I don't want to see this turn into a franchise that puts out mini-packs of DLC way too often, or turns out low-quality sequels yearly.

I think a part of me would rather see a 'in the spirit of....' game that isn't part of the Souls Series, but still borrows in terms of some of the lore / mechanics / etc.

I want another game before this generation end.

Id personally like to see the origins of some of classes. Like You could go to the Great Swamp and learn new pyromancies or you could go to Vinheim and learn new sorceries and go to Thorolund (probably spelled that wrong) to learn more miracles. I think that would be pretty cool.

A dlc would be nice, but we can't unravel everything about dark souls. One of the things I love is interpreting the game as I like and instead of the creators directly telling me, I find it funner to just imagine who it is. Having said that, a new game would be better.

A fresh story would be nice instead of prying on the same one, it would have us discover everything all over again which I thought was fun. Also the areas would be knew and maybe they will use areas from dark souls but at a different time. Anything souls is awsome.
