Crystal Weapons.

Are the BOMB. Why am I just now realizing this? I've been running around farming weapons and making them all crystal. Peep this shiz: a maxed out crystal Uchi will outdamage the Chaos Blade. WHAT? Yeah, boy! AND it doesn't have sh*tty R2's.

I'm having trouble remembering what all weapons can be farmed. Some of my favs are one per playthrough (Iaito, Estoc), but I might be willing to switch some stuff out if I can just make new crystal weapons all the time. These things are awesome.

Crystal Large Clubs are the bomb. Killer scaling+added AR+Rotten Resin=difficult not to cream oneself.

Yeah, that's true. But chances are you won't run into one of those.

Sometimes I have an acid throwing game, to see how far you can throw the acid surge to your enemy. It's like using the wraiths in halo.

*attunes acid surge like amos* so when do you wanna have some duels? lol i love my crystal DGM and thankfully my new build uses the DGA and i guess ill just buy tons of them when i become a forest hunter. also you can have all my dex weapons if you want since i never use them and i have about 4 of each in most of my builds.

Where are you guys getting all these slabs?

Hours of farming the DW's I have 100 Crystal Shortbows +5

sounds annoying.. and to time consuming for a few extra AR

Glute it is more than a few extra AR on shortbow... More like 100 - 200 AR

what about a Uchi +4 crystal vs Chaos blade, an Uchi +5 crystal is the same as Chaos blade 450, and you won't be making the Uchi's +5 only +4.

i never realized the bows were such a huge gap in AR though...

Aye, crystal short bows out the wazoo! I love the Panic when some naked wraith eats 300+ from a poison arrow.

Nah, man. They're all +5. Everything is +5. And the additional AR on melee weapons typically ranges from an extra 30 to 50 AR, which is pretty damn good.

And the crystal Uchi hits 453 at 40 dex. Chaos Blade is at 450. It's not much in terms of AR, but it opens up the R2's. That's what really matters.

Aware me on how you have unlimited slabs.... and a chaos blade is 452 damage and a +5 uchi is 453. According to the character planner at 40dex

I downrepped you sorry, stupid phone. I was thinking of writing a guide to crystal weapons, with a list of all farmable and restockable weapons. Definitely worth the farm, and with the DLC coming, you'll have to farm like to good old days, but it's usually just a run through New Londo. I voted up you back.

Thanks, holmes. I think it's a good idea. There's a weapon you can farm/purchase indefinitely from most classes. So it'd help to have all the info together in one spot.

Too bad I can't buy a Mura. I'd have to have people mule me some Muras. That might get old after awhile. Still, might be worth it. But, I'd be going through at least 1 or 2 Muras a night. I have a couple builds with Muras. If someone can help me mule them over to my dedicated Mura build, send me a PM and we can go over the details (I'd really appreciate it).

You could farm them in ToTGs Reim. I know for a fact the big guys with swords drop them.
