    I want to go for a SL120 melee/caster hybrid that uses Dex and Int. Stat total excluding Res and Fai for the Pyromancer is 64, and 66 for Sorcerer. Sorcerer starts at lv 3, however, and his Att is an odd number at 15.

    Is this a viable idea? Which starting class would you think is most up for the task?

    Can anyone suggest some different stat spreads, maybe some magic numbers? So I can you know get a decent picture of where to focus my creative input and then perhaps make a good build.

    Mmm, seems I'd need 19 str to two hand Murakumo. I don't know if a dex/int melee/cast hybrid build like this is viable or if Murakumo would be a terrible choice for it or not, pretty new to PVP.

    Int, dex, enough str to two hand some decent melee weapons. A reasonable amount of attunement slots. Just enough endurance and vitality to see me through.

    Also if you are going Murakumo 1 handing it is the best choice.

    I guess Murakumo is bad for this kind of build then.

    Wish I knew the metagame and what things a build like this'd need to prepare for...

    Amos that's not so bad. Five attunement slots, huh. That's an awful lot. Is that level of endurance workable in PvP?

    The level of end is viable, you just have to pick your moves smartly, it will teach you how to be a better player silly

    I can see that. Rolling is more omniscient in this than MH, I wish it didn't have rolling as an animation 100% of the time! No, I know there's that cartwheel ring I think... It's not impossible to play with less of a margin for error, probably.

    Oh, if I went for a pure dex Pyro would a spread like this be ok? http://tinyurl.com/8tx2ud7 I ain't even beat the solo game yet but I wanna make sure my first character can hold his own at 120.

    Endurance depends on the weapon you are using. For a kat, you don't need high stamina because you'll mostly be hit-dodge. For a claymore or halberd you need high stamina because those weapons rely on combos/stunlock. I have 8 End builds that use rapiers and dodge just fine, they rely on spells, which don't need stamina to be cast, and rapiers consume very low stamina. I usually go minimum End for the equipload.

    Do pure Vit and End builds work as well as I hear they do? Someone I know was complaining base damage builds that emphasize those stats are broken, but he is a complete idiot in many other ways so I wondered if that has any weight after what Wyrm said.

    Hmm, I might well go for dex Pyro. The weapon variety looks quite pleasant. And the dex just supplements spells that don't even need an extra stat, so it's very self contained.

    Claymore is very easy to use. I'm assuming you're playing on PS3/XBOX so DWGR should help you till DLC hits.

    Fits the character I'm trying to emulate too. I love big swords and fire when mixed.

    hey hey, it wouldn't hurt to start as Pyro for that build instead of a Warrior would it?
