    I don't know, but shouldn't Magic and Enchanted weapons be buffed? They have the same weaknesses as elemental weapons, but have lower AR when you invest up to 40 INT with them. At least Divine and Occult weapons had some additional characteristics but magic is just overall inferior. The only advantage it has is that it penetrates shields more than other damage types.

    And that's it, plus they deal permanent damage, unlike +15 weapons with buffs on. I don't think they should be buffable, or they would be better than +15 with buffs.

    They start to shine on higher level (200+) toons where you get max scaling from all the stats. Also, Magic defense is usually between fire and lightning so they do more damage than fire elementals. All in all, they were meant to be backup weapons for mage characters; they were never meant to be equal to dedicated warrior builds, just tools for magic focused characters to have respectable melee capability.
