I was going through the painted world again on a new character and i was killing them with a fire weapon and it stopped them from exuding toxic gas when killed. Did anyone else know about this?

Tis true, Pyromancy or flame based weapons will stop them from emitting their toxin.

    This is really cool.

Months into this game and I had no idea. Never even would have thought to try. +1

Yeah, as long as you have a fire based weapon, those toxic hollows won't release their toxins. I found that out recently as well!

Another cool trick is that you can lure 4 crow demon's to the roof of that building, where you get the dried finger. Now, why would someone as crazy as me do this? To get the dark ember and Vow of Silence miracle, without the crow demons bothering you!

It may seem like suicide, but when you go near the corpse on that building, two of them will come down and attack you. Then after you killed them, you can pull the other two with arrows (the ones at the VoS miracle), and fight them one at a time. It worked for me. big grin

You can also backstab then, which puts enough distance between the two of you, to protect you.

No need to put on wiki nor anything ok. Leave my toxic heads alone.

I prefer a well placed arrow, but this is good to know next time I'm doing a playthrough there.
