Whether it be daggers, rapiers, or Greataxes, I would like to have a fair match where neither participant exploits the latency to get in order to get a quick or chain backstab. So I ask you, of our selection of weapons, which would you say is most suited for fighting fishers? Quick, wide arc, long range, or something else, what do you feel is the best anti-fish weapon.

I think movement is the best way to protect yourself, sure, if you are using a slow weapon, you could be trouble, but I think moving back and predicting moves is the best way to stop it. Its easier to estimate them then normal moving I think.

Thorn armor roll backwards into a BS and watch as they get frustrated. 
failing that anything that follows well and has a nice arc. falchion works nice for me.

I've been using the PGS and Furysword the last couple days, mostly kust for a change of pace, and holy eff they shut circle strafing DOWN. Especially the PGS. They usually wont try more than once, and that one time will end up costing them the majority of their hp. I dig it.

PGS is a pretty nasty weapon if someone gets too close. 715 on one swing on a BKGA user.... I hate to say it but I object to being able to trade up against a greataxe with the PGS.

We're talking about the Painted Guardian Sword, yes?
How is one swing of that hitting for 715? 45 DEX w/ CMW or DMB?

Crystal? (I cant acutally remember) painting guardian sword with counter damage I believe and an SLB buff 40 dex too. belive me I was freaking shocked too.

i wouldn't say you want a weapon to avoid bs, more time your attacks and movement better, the roll bs would completely negate you trying to use a weapon's move to avoid bs
