    ^THIS.

I'd like to know as well, I'm a hardcore fan and I want the stuff that comes with the retail edition myself.

I haven't heard any confirmation on this but I would imagine yes. The DLC has been confirmed to allow your old characters and I don't know why they'd alienate us from buying a second copy and giving them even more money. I would imagine that both are essentially exactly the same in how they read and write with the consoles. I wouldn't even be surprised if the new edition was identical and just had you install the new content from the disc before playing basically as if you just downloaded it.

My thoughts would be on the same line of thinking there skarekrow13.

Although I am still a sucker for special editions etc,I guess all I will be buying it for is the DLC and the art work and the few goodies that come with it like the PC got.
But then again do we know what is confirmed?.

I kind of assumed they were bringing out both DLC and a new retail version.

I sure hope there is a new disc/edition to buy.

I think it will depend on where you live whether there is a retail version for stores.
