Maybe it's just that my play style has become less cautious than when I started Dark Souls, but do you all notice that pulling single enemies is much more difficult, and in many cases impossible, in the new areas?

Let me know if you guys have found the same, as to me this is potentially a big deal. The PC release is an obvious attempt to make new fans, so I think it's a good indicator whether or not they will "dumb down" the difficulty in the next title.

If pulling lone enemies is more difficult, I'm happy about it. The gameplay shouldn't be dumbed down at all, it's just fine as is. I think the DLC changes have actually made things much harder, if anything.

Pulling is somewhat harder in the new areas, like when you enter the Royal Wood and go straight left, I won't spoil it but it's pretty cool what happens, a bit different. Enemies seem somewhat more "grouped up" in specific areas, I'm grateful for it too, just like Ziggurat91 said.

And those Sorcerer's in Oolacile Township have pretty powerful attacks as well.

Yeah, I agree it was really noticeable in the garden area. Constantly getting mobbed. I hope this is a permanent change From is doing, because one of the few complaints I had about the game was how easy it is to pull, or simply to avoid enemies.

I found the slumbering dragoncrest ring EXTREMELY useful in the royal garden for controlling the aggro pulling and not being roflstomped by its inhabitants. The only other place I've ever used it before was in the TOG. Still, even with that ring, I would pull aggro of 2-3 enemies at a time. Royal wood is a cool area where patience is rewarded.
