You could try some Bonjella. It's made for mouth ulcers in general, so it might work on your tounge.

Hmm, I heard toothpaste or lemon juice can help when applied to them, I suppose it's worth a shot. One option is to coat it in melted wax.

That would work I guess, as when I was younger I was told to swirl salty warm water around it in my mouth to get rid of it.

Salt. It kills the germs and infection, makes it heal up faster. My aunt used to make me wet my finger, pour a spoonful of salt on it so it'd stick and just press it against the sore till it REALLY stung.

first i would suggest you stop licking.....whatever not my place to judge.
use vinegar to rinse out your mouth. it's going to hurt badly. you can dilute it up to about 50%. do that a few times a day. it should heal up in no time.
