by PRH2 Tue Aug 28, 2012 5:05 pmso today i was doing some invading at the kiln. so i get an invasion and instead of zoning into the players world i get the cut scene like im entering the kiln for the first time. this is soon followed by the message " phantom knight soltaire has been defeated" then the dark souls title screen pops up and im back at the asylum like i've started a new game. at this point i powered down my ps3 in hopes of catching it before it auto saved by i was to late...anyway i seem to be back at the beginning of what im assuming is ng+3 for me, but all my inventory is intact i have all my keys ect ect..anyone else ever have this happen?

to be honest I have no clue how that happened, if you are a BB glitcher that could have caused it to happen.

something like that happened to me in my first playthrough
i was at kiln pvping then i went next to the white light entrance, suddenly i heard a scream, got a trophy, gwyns soul and saw the dark lord scene.
don't know why it happened, i've never bb glitched and in the first time is impossible to bb glitch
just a weird glitch

I had something similar happen to me in dark Anor Londo. I was summoned to invade, but then I saw my character in the cut scene for Gwyndolin's boss fight. Then I got his trophy and returned to my world.
I think they are both caused by invading at the exact moment the player enteres the boss door. (But I'm not certain.)
