crystal weapons like... crystal path? a crystal short bow might last like 60 shots i think... 120 if they work the ewgr its probably higher than that...

I tend to go with weapons that have +15 durability. Weapons like kats and bows are just too brittle to go crystal. But I was farming chunks with the DWs and they drop pretty frequently, about 5~6 in a run.

The durability goes down slower than normal if I remember right though. Its really all in wether or not the farming is worth it to you. (if you dupe glitch then its a good idea as long as the weapon can be bought, because you can have another maxed in 45 seconds)
