ok i know i am not that bright but i thought i understood the skill mods for wep damage and i guess i just don't. my server is rated at 180 ish dammage and drake at 200 server is taking 120 ish hps a hit and drake around 60 i love this game but i do not think i will ever understand it.

In your weapons tab hit square (or the xbox equivalent) to toggle the display. It will show you the physical damage is atually 180 + X where X is based on your str/dex. So it actually has higher AR you just cant see it on that screen.

yes i am aware of that but its still lower. :/

Server and Drake Sword do different types of damage, don't they?
Defense strength against each type probably plays a role in the end product.

Server is by far the least used weapon in dark souls. It's one of the better weapons of the game and can be upgraded to +15. At 24/13 STR/DEX it's good for early and later levels. Think about a combo for it though..

I wouldn't say "No one EVER". It's been mentioned a fair few times on these forums...
Also the server in general is quite liked by a few people, however it's rather unknown by most.
