    Only works at >25% equip load. In other words, you must be at fast roll encumbrance in order to ninja flip.

    ok, i'll be honest. I don't like how From goes about "balancing" if we don't like something enough, they effectively remove it, rather then nerf if. This company does a horrible job at pandering to it's fans. They should go back to doing things their way or the highway. They were more efficient and there was less butthurt that way.

    The DWGR ring is not useless. It's main utility has switched, that's all. Instead of being an easy mode for those with balanced armour, it presents fast, safe backsteps for light armoured characters who might need to dodge and counter hit.

    Yes, I assume its invincibility frames are still very generous. I'm glad they finally fixed it. People running around ninja-flipping in heavy armor was really dumb-looking (even when it was ME doing it!).

    Now you can only use it to increase the distance of your rolls, you can no longer use it to double your effective equipment load.

    That's the way it should always have been! I remember the first time I got the ring, thinking "what's the point of ninja-flipping instead of fast rolling? It's just a novelty!" Then I realized I could go to 50% equip weight and still have fast move speed... I'd rather it be a novelty (with increased i-frames, for sure, but still more of a novelty than the must-have ring it's become) than an OP piece of gear.

    Wait, so flip is under 25% but if you go above 25% you med roll or fast roll? Noones said anything about this.

    Im glad that its been nerfed.

    However...its useless now. You can say its still usefull all you want that doesnt make it true. I frames seriously? Fast roll an extra ring slot is so much better. Everyone will just use wolf ring now(i probably will too with Atorias armor cause it looks cool unlike every other armor set in the game)

    Though RTSR or BDCR may be better depending on your playstyle.

    I think ill go with FAP and leo with my my BSS.( fast roll of course) Ill figure out my ring slots when i can play around with it. I know DWGR wont be considered though.

    I think 30% would have been better. To me its useless now.

    That being said... my rapier just became a LOT better. I'm gonna come back and kill gankers for a bit while i laugh at them fast rolling.

    If you go over 25%, the ring does absolutely nothing. You still medium roll over 25%.

    Edit. As i've said in other threads. Everyone who has been depending on the ring is screwed. While i'm not affected at all silly . This has just weakened my opponents. Same goes for the HR nerf, and some other things.

    @spur I will most likely end up making my str builds dragons since I depended too much on the dwgr with some of them so they might need remaking, and there's this new weapon that jm gonna make my new dragon str build around. other than that the rest are ok since the fast roll with 61 poise.

    Masks are heavily nerfed. MoM gives 10% extra vit. MoF gives 5% extra equip weight. Don't know about MoC yet.
    Hornet is nerfed to 30% extra damage.
    Apparently the stunlocking power of the GS is nerfed, but this isn't confirmed.

    I'm fine with them nerfing the DWGR, I admit I use it but mainly as a counter since almost every invader is also using it (levels the playing field somewhat). I'd much rather use the slot for something else though so that'll be a welcome relief.

    Occasionally I use it in PvE as well but just to cover ground faster if I wanna get somewhere in a hurry. Then when I get into a thick of enemies I'll swap it for something more combat/defense-oriented.

    I'm already fastrolling on the majority of my builds. And you can still easily hit the 32 breakpoint without Hav's ring or even the rofap. I think poise will more commonly be between 25 and 40 now, and naturally most people will be fastrolling. I'm psyched on the patch. Tanks are tanks, light builds are light builds.
