well.. im not here to talk about the spoilers or any of that, most of the new stuff i don't really care about because i can just adapt..

but that's the thing.. i've heard that they're going to patch the bbg.. and man i really hope from doesn't because the amount of time required to stay competitive and try out and make new builds would be insane.

does anyone know if this could be the case on the ps3?

No Idea. As the arena doesn't seem to have a character creator, I really hope its still there.

i mean it would be pretty insane to patch it.. the only system that would notice a difference would be the ps3 and that'd have the biggest impact.

wouldn't help new players any either, as the older players would still have their stuff.

i really hope the people i've heard this from are just full of s***

I have to disagree with both of you guys. I used the BB glitch to make fast toons and actually got bored of the PvP. Now I have made 3 SL 99 toons, without the BB, and I don't know why I don't get bored of the PvE. I think it's the feeling of having everything first place that makes the game boring. Either way, sometimes I have to get to NG+ for some spells, and having a non glitched toon keep things interesting. I do agree on having the option to pass all your owned equipment to your new toons, but I prefer it to be in a "legal" way instead of doing a silly glitch.

I was sick of the pve by the third time through. (diddn't know about the bb untill the 5th.) As I've already stated, especially with new games coming out, I'm probably mostly done shortly after the patch. I'm not putting up with the grind, or the farming for new characters or weapons. I'd be playing wow if thats what I wanted to do.

I have 1 save I keep as my legit play-though the rest I use to test out builds,
the legit one is more satisfying to play on but that's only because I've made all
my screw-ups on the others, so I know that after 1000+ hours of grind I'll end
up with exactly what I want and not have to start over

I am very glad they're getting rid of both glitches. I know that people who practice 'disposable builds' will be upset, but I think it's a good thing for the game that it's going/gone. To me a big part of Dark Souls is that there are consequences to our decisions, and the BBG pretty much canceled out those consequences.

And thank GOD there is an end in sight to the extravagant low-lvl glitch gifting!

Well, that will be disappointing - I use my FH as my mule, he has earnt every +15 weapon legitimately... I also made over 100 Crystal shortbows with him. Don't ask me how long I have farmed for - I would rather not say. I have lost a degree of fun from pve, all I do is go hyper mode and nuke the bosses in a few minutes anyway - creatign builds from scratch legitimately gets boring after a while. I want to keep the bbg for the sake that I haven't wasted my time farming for any reason. Mind you all my builds now have every +15 weapon so I suppose it isn't too bad, I am satisfied with them currently. I will just put every toon of mine on an external HDD and keep them safe so I can have 50 toons and won't have to create a new one due to the variety silly

On the bright side, the divine blessing abusers would eventually dry up.

    this.

also i could care LESS about divine blessings. i would sacrifice all of those stupid things if it meant that i'd never have to grind each of my MANY pvp builds to a viable level again.

all patching it would do is give new ps3 players no recourse against low level gankers, put a massive mountain of grinding in front of new high level pvpers and cause incredible imbalance between the old and new players.

meanwhile on the xbox and pc.. LOL I MOD EVERYTHING. WHATS BBG? WHO CARE.

so i mean.. i really hope they don't discuss this in the same light as gfwl if they're considering it or have already done so..

also, sorry i kind of zoned out in your post.. but i read it and dude thats a great idea.

is this possible on the ps3? to duplicate all the saved files and just have untold ammounts of bbg toons ready to go?

because my god if it is and this patch hits the bbg walmart is gonna get some monehs from me for their entire usb display case.

you can't modify their stats on the ps3. xbox lmao, but on ps3 i have yet to see that done.. they get corrupted once you muck around with them.

but yeah, i'm just gonna make like 100 of each useful starting class and be done with it if the patch hits and it's gone.
