i used to use the havels and favor ring in most of my builds
i liked the DWGR cause it allowed me to do awesome ninja flips and use a non end ring
actually im upset about this DWGR working for under 25% equip load only

Damn it Forum. I could resist 1 handed hit from a kat/spear. This one better? 42 for two 1 handed hits, one 2 handed hit.

u gotta go mid roll man.. that or you have to play really defensivley, you don't have enough poise to tank any hits.

Much. I might bite the bullet and go mid roll, so you trade up against greatswords (which is important with such a slow weapon) but its personal preference there.

Bah 10 weight is easy mode, I want my big +20 weight badass Str weapons.

You'll get mauled by spears if you mid roll, there just wont be anything you can do about them. I've tried, doesn't work unless the user screws up big time.

I'm happy, but its really not a huge difference. Its the i-frames i care about, but i am glad they did something. Ok, im gone before the spoilers start to pour in.

Rant I really really recommend Eastern gauntlets, they give you 42 poise, good for spears/kats.
