I might just have to do so. Ugh.. That means leaving Anor Londo again. I am really starting to hate that walk back.

It's quick if you go through the front doors. And on your way there, camp at the bonfire in the Tomb. You'll have 2 smaller sentinels and 2 large to get through, but you can just run past them to O&S.

I know it is quick, doesn't make it any less annoying.

Said screw it and ground some darkwraiths for the chunks. I now have a lightning longsword+4. Wondering if I should use my slab, or wait for something else. Because I can't really think of anything else I would use it on. Most likely going to go grind some rats for a bit of humanity, then kill a certain ninja.

Lightning weapon isn't going to help you much against Orn or giant S. Heavy lightning resistance.

It can kill Smough fast, but then switch to a standard weapon.

Well I got that. They are basically covered in the stuff, why would I use it against them? I have the chaos for a reason. Need some humanity though.

I honestly can't separate them. I try but they won't stop walking directly next to each other. I remember Orn doing a lot more lunging and such on my other game... No idea why they won't separate. Never had this problem before.

Possibly try a chaos shortbow? Can you poison them? Using the bow poison resin glitch and poison arrows? Or just straight choas + fire arrows, although those are very expensive for this kind of run.

Grass + retreating and shooting them full of arrows (well, with low stats, maybe light crossbow would be better).

Don't know why you can't separate them.

BTW don't send voice messages, I never listen to them (normally playing without sound as the miss is always studying).

Arrows give them plenty of time to charge. Which they will both due, simultaneously. Honestly never seen such uniform in the movements of two separate entities.

I can't tell either, Orn is normally walking right in front of Smough. If I get close I get chain killed.

Typing on the xbox takes so long though. You know you can set it so you only hear them through your mic... Although I assume you don't have a mic.

Well you wait till they charge, flip away, then fire a single shot.

Hmm. Can you summon me? If I watch the fight I can tell you what you may be doing wrong.

I use a full keybaord typing on the xbox. A wireless one.. it supports any USB keyboard.

I do have a mic... I just hate voice messages lol. I find for a lot of people I have to replay it a few times to understand what they're saying.

I guess I could. I am sure you'll pick apart my form though. Be glad to have someone to observe my problems as I have a lot of them. It will most likely have to be later though, I have some paperwork to do and am most certainly not at full skill at all.

I personally don't have a keyboard for the xbox. I have voice messages, and manually typing it out on the xbox internal keyboard. Which just takes far too long by the way.

Yeah I'm at work for the next 6 hrs.

Also, what SL are you? I was planning on a run through with a Hunter with base gear (that I will upgrade).

Edit: enver mind, no level up with a hunter big grin

I'll do a no level up with a thief then.

.....Did you seriously think this entire time that I was having this much trouble with a regular game?

Edit: Won't your presence change the way the battle goes entirely? First of all they will pay some attention towards you. Meaning their odds of splitting up will increase dramatically, meaning the same problem most likely won't occur.

Also, don't you think the power difference from having two of us there (especially if your not doing anything) will change the battle entirely? Others seem to be acting like it isn't there, but I went through an entire game on three player coop shortly before this. EVERY enemy gets far stronger when there are more people. With three people the power difference is almost double.

Also, has anyone else ever tried a pure coop game with some friends? It is really bad for your xbox live reputation. I had a pretty good reputation before I started that. Now I have a bunch of bad reviews for "quitting early" and "poor sportsmanship". Of course I am going to quit early, my friends are far too impatient to wait every single time I get summoned by someone else. Although I can see why it is a bit unsporting to leave...

No, I knew this was a no-lvl run, but I didn't know what class you picked. I have some low level characters and was wondering if they'd be within range of being summoned.

It's +30% HP for each Phantom summoned I believe. If I enter in somewhat later and don't aggro, hopefully it won't change the fight too much happy

Just PM the person when you leave with "Sorry, playing coop w. friends". That should sort things out.

The range is 10 levels. So, do you have a 14?

Don't know what that "10%" crap came from. It is wrong... Horribly wrong.

As for your entrance. You'll have to be there the entire fight. Isn't like I can summon you during. As for not aggro, I doubt it will matter. Your presence will change their scripting. Dealing with the presence of two enemies requires far more complicated scripting then just one.

Forumla as I understand it is:

    LVL +/- (10 + 0.15LVL)

So a lvl 100 host can summon from 75 to 125.

I'll be there, but I don't have to enter the fog gate right away. I can also try a pair of fog rings on big grin

The difficulty will increase whether or not you enter right away, Mark. Doesn't seem like it really matters since the point isn't to beat them this time, but for you to advise (generous offer, btw).

Fog ring doesn't work on bosses, but you'll probably have no trouble staying behind him and out of range of O & S. Sometimes in co-op the host will just stay on the other side of the room and heal his phantoms; doesn't seem to be a problem.

I'd suggest letting Mark do his thing though, sendi. Hang back and watch the way he does it, see if there's anything you can take from his style and apply to your own, then suicide before they're dead.

Thanks for the tip on Fog ring.

I can definitely show you how I'd do it, then die and you can Homeward bone out of there.

Ok, so I got down to the bottom of blighttown, and then got sidetracked by doing about 30 invasions lol.

Shouldn't take long to beat Queelag then go through Sen's though.
