How to not be a FAIL in Dark Souls?

Hey Guys, I've wanted to ask this for a while, sorry if there's a post like but thing is...

I really love Dark souls.... but I find that I Fail at it. xD

I mean, it's normal when this game kicks your buttz, it's normal when people backstab you to death. but I just frigging Suck in this. I find ng+(onward) to be frigging imposible and for me it's even harder to just win one sole fight anymore. I remember the Days when I beat demon souls 2 times in one week. but now it's different...

Maybe others have gotten better while I still play like a beginner.

I love Skyrim, but Dark souls is so much better. I had found myself returning to skyrim so I don't die out of rage or embarrasment. xD

Join our arena or FC. You can learn some PvP basics when dueling with us, and it's fun. You will get good in time.

when you do something in this game, look back and see how it could of been done better.

sounds pretty easy right

just do it in little baby steps.. consider new tactics, look at why you died or won, consider things other people talk about but always make sure that they work for you.

I usually practice kicks, jump r2s and bow swaps when I wait for invasions. you could try that, you never know it might get u a win.

NG++ and beyond is all about execution. Lets take a couple bosses people tend to notice as difficult. 4Kings and uhmmm how about O&S.. sure.

In NG, the first time around you by the time you fight O&S have access to the giant blacksmith, and If you stopped by the painted world (either on purpose or accident as I did) you might have a couple extra weapon options. You can summon Solaire or other player sunbros, and you can take them out pretty smoothly. NG++ however Solaire's ability to tank hits is diminished, Smough will obliterate any amount of stamina if you try to block anything, and once your gaurd is broken Ornstien can probably 2 shot you.

4Kings are even worse, their health increase makes it a chore to hit one enough times to drop it before the next spawns, coupled with their damage and attack patterns AND the fact you got a ring slot taken away from you...=(

But it's entirely possible to beat both of these at absurdly low SL, because at the end of the day you actually can just never take damage.Practice makes perfect they say.

Thank you for your help guys, I noticed I was just playing for the heck of it, xD I don't know why I didn't think about carefully thinking strategies, I don't know why I didn't even thought parrying and evading was much better than blocking. I'm so happy right now I just died 1 time today, won all my pvp battles and Slaughtered Seath in Jolly cooperation :3

make a high vit build using elememental weapons head for SL60 / SL80 beacome a Dark Wraith / Darkmoon Blade and invade, invade, invade, invade then invade some more.

Just never give up. Don't consider anything a failure, look at everything as a learning experience. I lose ALOT of pvp. But i play how i want and i enjoy it. (Unless im getting ganked or chain bs'd. Or fighting a fisher, then it is hard to enjoy i'll admit).

Im the guy who uses priscillas dagger alot because i enjoy it. I get messages sometimes saying 'if you wouldve used a stronger weapon you'd have won".

So, look at success and failure in more of a personal thing. Are you happy with what you did, not just winning.

Took me 150 hours of pvp to have my first night playing where i feel i won more than i lost while dueling in the burg.
