Xanthous King, Jeremiah theory.

Here's a little theory of mine (sorry if I'm not allowed to do this or
there's already a topic about it). Sometime ago ENB found a link between
Havel the Rock and Havel the Bishop from Christian religion, this set
me off on a quest and the Xanthous King being one of my most favourite
NPC's and considering there's like nothing on him I decided to look
through some Biblical stories about anything to do with Jeremiah. I
found a link between King Jeremiah and Jeremiah the Prophet, there's to
much that I could write down but keep these in your mind; Why was
Jeremiah banished? What connections does he have with the Prophet
Jeremiah? I whent through a bunch of stuff to figure this out but most
of you guys can go on wikipedia and read the Prophet Jeremiah page for
summarised information. And considering his head wrap is considered to be the Dark Souls version of the Demon's Souls monk head wrap, if you think of his head gear to be something religious, like he's a monk if you think of it from the Demon's Souls head wrap then it matches not too badly with some stuff about prophet Jeremiah.
Post any suggestions new, links you find, contradictions or anything because I want to know more about this crazy NPC!

You guys really need to set a character limit on my posts. Jebus. DS Pro....You're absolutely allowed to post theories etc. and I'll look up your prophet to see if anything sticks out. Most of what I said was after he was exiled so there's an obvious gap in his story according to me. Also, every word of what I said is speculation based on evidence as I see it. Others might see something different which is encouraged.

Never heard of this before! I might read the full play itself since Lovecraft apparently got some idea's from it and who knows might give me some good info on Jeremiah.

I personally think he is actually of the chaos covenant.

This is why he uses chaos pyromancy almost exclusively, and the head rap is actually a clothe wrapping around an egg head, which is why a bit bloody.

Reading the book of short stories now. Second story describes the King In Yellow as "wrapped in the fantastic colours of his tattered mantle"

The book so far has alluded to his sign causing insanity and fanatical devotion. Like a spreading curse. The first story implies the play of his name is heretical. The book is mostly banned
