I didn't get the ring until almost the end of NG+ so I won't be that affected by the change. It will suck though.

And get torn to shreds by the other 2 as I try? I can parry everything, but spears are the toughest, and with 3 at once it would only be more difficult. Not to mention they're likely to bs me as soon as the animaiton ends, or that if any of them arn't totally skilless they'll stay to far away for parrying to work.
Either way though, I think a spear will be manditory for any gaanker killing I do.

Dashboard it or return home, its not cheap against gankers since you ruin their trolling.

You may, but I won't do it. Not a big fan of fighting with daggers, especially as they're so buff reliant, and buffing at sl80 requires serious sacrifice.
Its not about me ruining their trolling. I enjoy fighting against groups. I don't have any intention of discouraging their ganking, unless they've been ganking someone I know.

this isn't directed at anyone in particular.
you can't parry the spears if they're sitting at range 2handing the thing. to be able to parry something you have to basically be a little bit farther than backstab range in front of them.
you can still partial parry their attacks but i mean..
you'll just have to use bows and spells, be overly evasive and punish them that way or be overly aggressive.
unlocking them and dodging their pokes or dashing to your right in a circle around them with a shield up works too.

Hopefully one handed is not his problem, and I never said parrying them was as easy as parrying other weapons haha.

- If a spear hits a shield, it gets knocked back. So if they just spam R1 they'll get staggered.

When the new metagame arrives there will be new gank methods althought they will be less effective but then again twop nerf?

Frankly there is no need for a TwoP nerf, since every new method that has been added does not make ganking easier in any regard, just harder. So if anything, the balances will make it easier to fight gankers.

So basically spears are crap now?
Also I want TWoP nerfed to oblivion. Just take it out of the game. Nothing annoys me more than that spell.

Forum would be happy. Me too, but I have found certain methods that work against spears (bows, spear vs spear, 62 poise).
