Is there any reason to use any other Xbow than light? (Excluding burst fire one...)

Been gearing up for friday, and noticed that the damage increase between the light crossbow, heavy and sniper is pretty much marginal. A few points between light and sniper, maybe...10 for the heavy?

That being said, the light crossbow is found early, free of work or cost and is something you could be working on for some time before you even get to the point where you can obtain the other crossbows.
I might get the sniper and eventually upgrade it into a lightning or fire bow as a project simply because of the range and appearance, but in terms of getting some killin done early, mid and maybe even late game, is there any reason to hunt for anything else?

why gearing up for friday?!

i only see myself using a crossbow on pvp when the guy is running or going to heal, so the light one is the best for me too

"gearing up" in regards to figuring out my game plan..and appearently it's thursday, not friday that it launches. huh.

well, so you might have a problem, this week the game only comes up to pc, for the dlc the content will only arrive in october

I was just about to make a thread about whether or not the DLC comes out along with the PC edition.

Hrm, not too bothered actually. I'm just happy to get back in on dark souls, and hopefully with some PC based mods soon!
