Seriously. Whenever I'm playing Dragon's Dogma or something, and a boss or a pawn is doing something stupid I wish I could do the shrug gesture, just to amuse myself

I like gestures. Excellent way to non-verbally communicate with the people you are playing with. Its very enjoyable!

Agreed, that's just one thing that I love about the Souls games, how unique the multiplayer is, I love expressing myself through those actions

I like it not even for multiplayer. Its just really satisfying doing to a boss after you beat it. I'm pretty sure saints row the 3rd has something similar to the gestures, i was never into saints row but that one looks kind of cool. I hope they have something like that in gta5

Re: All Games Should Have Gestures
Saints row does, its more limited though in my opinion. Only played the 2nd due to it being a free ps plus game though. 3rd might be improved. But its no souls game. I love gestures. And as odd as it can be intelligent players anyway communicate with them. The non verbal feel is awesome. Adds to the lonely world, giving just a twinge of communication. I dont want other games to do it, i just want more souls.
Can you imagine gestures in a call of duty game. Would be a disaster

Doing after killing the online Ur Dragon in Dragon's Dogma would make me feel epic Just one of the many examples in many games I would love to have gestures for.

Re: All Games Should Have Gestures
People enjoy that fight? For me, Ur Dragon is the most tedious boss I've ever fought. It was fun once or twice, but after that it's just clinging, crawling, and hammering. Or shooting. Repeat ad infinitum.
I also like the gestures in Dark Souls, especially when people surprise me (like with prayer). The Well, what is it? annoys this **** out of me though. Seems like something new players will spam until they get bored with it... It's the Drake Sword of gestures.

That's a real shame. It's so reminiscent of the epic optional Final Fantasy Bosses of old, especially if you do it underlevelled The gestures could get annoying in multilayer, but it would be worth it for single player IMO They're just so amusing! (to me anwyway )

Re: All Games Should Have Gestures
Gestures would fit Gears of War and fighting games perfectly , but it'll probably turn out in a giant tea(bag) party
